Planning a Super Bowl Party?

ChurchRelevance.com has a great article and video link from the The Church Law Group outlining some great guidelines on enjoying a Super Bowl watch party at your church while respecting copyright law.

For those of you who've ever made an attempt at trying to understand copyright law, you will find these guidelines very reasonable and fair.

Enjoy the game!

P.S. The video also includes a great, understandable overview of what copyright and fair use are and what they affect, particularly relating to church use.

Rather interesting place you've got here. Thank you for it. I like such topics and everything that is connected to them. BTW, why don't you change design :).

Heh, speaking about design, I think we can all appreciate how difficult it can be for a non tech-geek to come up with a beautiful web design, much less something that suits your church site/blog. I'm currently working at Voxbiblia - http://voxbiblia.com(a company which aims to spread God's Word in digital and audio format to the masses), and we're hoping to put up a website template design competition. This competition aims simply to generate templates for churches and Christian blogs, and to ultimately distribute them freely, so as to help Christian organisations and individuals set up their blogs and websites as easily and quickly as possible.

Would you be willing to announce this competition on your blog, once it's up, as well as to help spread the word of this competition to those whom you know? Voxbiblia is willing to sponsor prizes for such a cause, but this would only really be worthwhile if many people participate, and good designs that people love to use are being churned out!

    Hey Chris (and anonymous),

I would love to connect with you more about this. Email me at kezrush@gmail.com so we can talk about design contest.
