You Tube is great but there are some video clips that I want to add to my personal collection. Video Download Helper makes it really easy.
You pick the site, press play on the the video, go up and click on the Video Download Helper icon that rest in the top of the broswer bar.

The program sounds interesting, but is it legal? I know that on YouTube there is a vast of videos which are not legal (commerials, concerts, ...).

Yes the program is legal. However knowing what you can download and what you can't is up to you and your understanding of copyright laws.
